Seamless Seals that Work
Highest Quality Hardware
4-6” thick doors are made to order at virtually any size, and as single or double doors.
White Metal Skin
Door exteriors are built with 26-ga stucco embossed white painted galvanized metal. The baked-on white paint matches the paint used on most insulated metal panel walls. Alternative colors are available – consult with factory.
The core of our infit doors is crafted using either high density polyethylene plastic (HDPE) or wood (optional) around the entire perimeter of the door (including the interior pan) to provide long term strength to the door. Every piece of hardware has 1.5” of solid backing behind it for maximum screw retention.
26-ga white painted galvanized metal clad frames are standard. The core of our casings is made of either HDPE plastic lumber or wood, depending on preference. Jamb depths are built to virtually any size, accommodating any wall type or depth.
Please consult with Weiland on requirements and recommendations.
Closed Cell Foam
Doors are placed in a heated press and injected with 2lb per cubic foot closed cell polyurethane foam. 2lb foam provides the maximum r-value for thermal performance (roughly R-7.5 per inch).
Standard sizes are 12×18″ and 10×10″, and can special order any custom size. We provide scratch resistant polycarbonate glazing in most applications (which is much more durable and chemical resistant than standard Lexan), and can also provide insulated, tempered, heated and safety coated glass, depending on the environment. Learn more about glazing options here.
Weiland utilizes the highest quality stainless hinges, latches, and hardware from a variety of the best manufacturers in the USA. The hardware we use on our doors we stock in our warehouse in the event you need to order replacement hardware down the road.
Self Regulating Heat
120 volt, 10-watt per foot self-regulating heater wire is utilized in the casings and the bottom of doors for freezer applications.
